Seaside (BGG)

Jan 30, 2026 @ 06:36AM (1 month ago)

The sun is shining, as a light, salty wind sends cottony clouds scudding across the sky. Sandpipers filling their bellies with strange insects, crabs hiding under piles of rocks, seashells washed up on the sand, curling waves that break along the beach. Nature in its simplest beauty.

Seaside is a game that features only wooden tokens. One token at a time, create your Seaside with the elements the sea sends your way. The goal of the game is to have the highest stack of tokens.

On your turn, draw a token from the Bag, look at it secretly, choose the side that interests you and apply its effect. Once you have chosen the side of the token you'd like to play, it will remain like that for the rest of the game. Once you've applied the token's effect, your turn is over; pass the Bag to the player on your left.

If you pick a token with a blue design and throw it into the sea, you immediately take another turn. Your turn ends when you pick a token with a white design and put it on your Seaside.

The key to the game lies in the interaction among the various elements of Seaside’s ecosystem. The Sandpiper allows you to fetch Isopods from the Sea. The more Beaches you have, the more Shells you can collect from the Sea. Having one Rock does nothing, but the second one you place allows you to collect all the Crabs from the Sea... and even steal one from another player! Finally, Waves wash across the Beach tiles and flip them over.

As soon as the bag is empty, the game is over. Stack up all the tokens from your Seaside, and the player with the highest stack wins!

Cryptid: Urban Legends (BGG)
$7.00 (New)
Jan 16, 2026 @ 07:37AM (2 months ago)

There’s something hiding among us: an elusive cryptid is prowling our city streets. The evidence is clear but, without definitive proof, the scientific community will never believe you. There’s nothing else to be done – you must track down this cryptid yourself!

Play as a determined Scientist manipulating heat, movement, and sonic sensors to scan the city, identify your quarry's true location, and capture them. Or take the role of a Cryptid, snaking your way through the shadows and back alleys of the metropolis that surrounds you, eliminating all evidence of your existence as you go, desperately avoiding capture. Emerging victorious in this high stakes cat-and-mouse chase, played out across a sprawling urban landscape, will require all your ingenuity and foresight.

Cryptid: Urban Legends is a tense asymmetric game of competitive deductive reasoning for two players from the creators of Cryptid.

"Uhhhh," you can't help but growl as the cards go around. You want to secure the perfect spot, but should you choose a location or an animal first? Take one card at a time and pass the rest around in this "drafting" style game.

You have spectacular savannas, lakes brimming with possibilities, and jungles full of the unknown at your disposal! So, which animals will you welcome in and where will you put them?

Match just the right animals with just the right locations and create the most harmonious national park ever!

Moonrakers (BGG)
$11.49 (New)
Dec 6, 2025 @ 12:15PM (3 months ago)

Moonrakers is a game of shipbuilding, temporary alliances, and shrewd negotiation set in a space-faring future. The players form a loose band of mercenaries, but while they are united in name, actual alliances are shaky as players are pitted against each other in the quest to become the new leader of the Moonrakers.

Moonrakers is a deck-building game in which players choose Contracts to attempt alone or with Allies in order to gain Prestige and Credits. After negotiating terms with Allies, players use their decks of Action cards to play Thrusters, Shields, Weapons, Reactors, and Crew to fulfill the requirements on each Contract. Each type of Action card has additional effects such as extra Actions, drawing additional cards, and protecting players from Hazards encountered while attempting Contracts.

Players create powerful decks and gain special abilities by upgrading their ships and hiring Crew Members. This helps them accomplish more difficult and rewarding contracts alone, letting them keep more Prestige and Credits for themselves.

Allies negotiate who will receive the Prestige, Credits, and risk of Hazard from Contracts, but if you don't make your offers enticing enough players may be tempted to betray you! The first player to 10 Prestige wins, but be careful as hazards encountered on Contracts reduce your Prestige!

Dying Message (BGG)
$15.00 (Like New)
Oct 25, 2025 @ 02:44PM (4 months ago)

You've been murdered! Well, almost, you're not dead yet, so you want to communicate the identity of who the killer is, but you have a limited number of tools to make that happen: a small number of cards with obscure marks on them and...yourself. Yes, your dying body. Maybe you can arrange the cards in some manner to convey information. Maybe your still fingers can point to — or obscure — parts of the cards to increase the clarity of your dying thought.

If the clues are easy to understand, they will be destroyed by the culprit; if they are difficult, they will not be communicated to anyone, and your death will not be avenged, so leave an exquisite dying message.

The other players in Dying Message are detectives, and they make inferences based on the limited information available. Detectives can co-operate or confront one another, and whether the deduction turns out to be good or bad will depend upon their discussion.

Note: The designer states that this game is for 3-8 players, not 2-8.

Order Overload: Burgers (BGG)
$50.00 (New)
Aug 11, 2025 @ 09:28AM (7 months ago)

You and your fellow players work in a burgershop in Order Overload: Burgers, and to keep your jobs, you need to keep a handle on all the orders coming in. Will you be able to make the right drinks?

In a round, you deal a certain number of cards face up and read them aloud so that everyone knows all the orders placed, then you deal these cards out face down to the players. On a turn, you need to name an order that's in someone else's hand. Fail to do so, and you're eliminated from play! If you collectively reveal a set number of items before everyone is eliminated, then you clear the level and are ready to take on tougher challenges...

What's the highest level you can clear?

Up-date 6/8/23 6:45 pm CST: My brother had a significant back-slide today related to the games specifically (I think a part of this is also the realization that a part of why the games needed to go and are hurting him [both to have them and to let them go] is that they remind him that he no longer has the group of friends around to play them with [from moving away or friendships dissolving] so, it is much more than just the mental health issues these games are also a tie to his friends being severed. Anyway... that is just to say, I got into this process to help him and right now I am hurting him. I have been diligently trying to work through emails and people's lists and in doing so have loaded a lot of work onto my mom which she had been pulling my brother into (which I had told him he would not have to be a part of)... triggering this backslide for him today. I am still willing to continue and not just sell all to Noble Knights just yet (and my brother IS on board with that, just acknowledging that he may have more of these backslides and attacks). But those needing shipping may be way slowed down until we can process and move out some which we are in the process of dealing with right now (again, local pick ups will still be prioritized because it will not require the measuring of each game, getting a shipping quote, going back to the potential buyer for acceptance of the shipping fee, and then processing for safely packing and actually packing. If you have already been in communication with me, you will continue to be dealt with until we either get the games to you or you choose to back out... for others who have emailed and not gotten a reply (first, I am sorry you have not gotten a reply), I am not sure what to do... I have been scanning them for people around Lodi (and those who have been expressing kindness in their messages are getting bumped up in my process of replying, thank you for being understanding)... many of the initial emails I received were lists of the games I have now pulled to try to set up in an auction format eventually and with the help of some feedback from BGGers, I have adjusted UP the prices on some of the games still listed which were just set irrationally low... such that anyone who asked about those games prior to 6/8/23 around 2/3 am CST will likely be upset that the price isn't what it was... so I am not even sure about the value in "using up" any of the 3 emails I have an hour to reply to those. So, hmm. I think I need a bit of a reset:

1. If you are local, please email me directly at genotypecats@yahoo.com, and be sure to state you can do local pick-up in Lodi CA. You will have priority over new shipping requests.

2. If I am already conversing with you, you are being processed as fast as we can manage. Sorry, we are new to this.

3. If you are asking for shipping, know that I will get to you as I can but we have a back-log of games to work through for shipping right now.

4. I know I won't reach all who emailed initially (either directly or here) but please recheck the listings and if you are still wanting games email again (just one email please, and list the games with a hard return after the name not in a paragraph format).

5. If you have a priority in the games such that not being able to get one game is going to make you not want any of them, please say so right off the bat because this will stop me taking the time to go through a long list unnecessarily.

6. Games needing shipping are going to be wrapped in plastic packing wrap to secure the box, wrapped in bubble wrap to protect the box, and shipped in a 12 x 12 x 12 or 18 x 14 x 12 box(s) (possibly cut down if shipping costs don't get thrown off by having a more irregular size; it was pointed out to me that these sizes seem to be the sweet spot for shipping costs). It would be great to optimize the size in these boxes, not have a lot of one game shipping requests. Seems ~3 of the ~11 1/2 x 11 1/2 games can fit in the 12 cube box depending on their height ( I know there are some really tall boxes or games in multiple boxes) and maybe 5-6 of the ~11 1/2 x 11 1/2 games can fit in the 18 x 14 x 12 box. If you want to try to optimize space/shipping cost (those box sizes are less affected by the mass it seems!).

7. I am accepting payment in cash (local pu), cashapp, or Zelle. I have been burned (yes, personally and have heard many tales of others being burned) with PayPal's and Venmo's "purchase protection" and so, while I understand that may make or break people's interest in buying from me, that is okay with me... I will not take those forms of payment (Venmo without the purchase protection maybe).

Up-date: IF YOU ARE LOCAL OR CAN PICK UP IN LODI CA 95240, PLEASE INDICATE SO IN YOUR TITLE OR MESSAGE (not trying to yell that but make it very obvious in my long text here; I can search the messages for "Local" and "Pick up" but I can't find you just by your zipcode without looking up every single zipcode around Lodi! I am giving priority to those who have specifically mentioned they are local and can do pick up... I would love more of these to come in so share the word if you are near Lodi or can get to Lodi!

I am trying to work through these emails I promise! It was suggested to me by many of you to remove the high demand games and start them in auctions. I have removed them but not started auctions. This severely affects a great deal of the first slew of emails I got because many of those lists were a compilation of the best of the best priced games... clearly, I had no idea the storm I was unleashing on myself.

Oh, and because I guess I didn't say this before, my preference for payment is cash (if in person), CashApp, or Zelle. I do not want to take PayPal.

I am wading through the waters of trying to get shipping estimates for people... and then trying to locate boxes of appropriate sizes... a few of you on here have pointed out two box sizes which seem to come in with better shipping quotes: 12x12x12 and 18x14x12 and so I've ordered some of these but they won't arrive until the 16th! Trying to make some local boxes work in the meantime. Oh, do people expect to pay for boxes and packing supplies? Seems they want to pay the exact shipping quote but I just spent $118 on boxes and I have no idea how much my mom spent on plastic packing wrap and bubble wrap and quality tape... how do other sellers go about figuring that in?

I am running the estimate for shipping through PirateShip.com, if you want to try to figure for yourself they will ship from Lodi CA 95240 but because there are expansions which may not be known about (by me at the moment.... I am learning more about how to figure that out!) the posted mass you may find is not always going to be correct... plus the packing materials will add mass and I may not have a box that perfectly fits your game(s).

Hi all... I am so sorry that I posted all of these listings, made many very fearful that I was a scammer by way of pricing everything super low and not being open to taking photos and such... by way of explanation, I am the sister of the owner of these games but I took them over from him so that I could manage the individual sales of the games which are bogging him down and causing him great mental health issues (wanting them gone but not having the mental fortitude to go through this process). The games are physically at my parents' home in Lodi CA and I live in AL... my parents will be managing shipping and packing and I am managing all communications. That said... when I listed all 400+ games, I had no clue that, as a new member to this group, I was restricted to replying to 3 messages an hour. With the response that I got to the posts (many many interested parties) I feel terrible that I can't get back to you because I really always try to resolve emails within 24 hours and the number I have gotten is just outside of possibility! It has been suggested to take the postings to the Auction listings where there is an active chat on the post (or at least that is what I was told) and so will likely do that for the games which I have had inquiries about. I have been trying to keep my brother's mental health in check rather than asking a lot of him in regard to the games (which, of the family members dealing with them, he is the only one "in the know") but I did just talk with him about the concerns many had about my mentioning that there are many expansions in these games' boxes which are not noted because I just listed them from the name of the game on the outside of the box... and he is willing to go over to my parents' and open the boxes and identify the expansions which are within them... this will allow me to list in the notes on any auctions I set up what the "extras" are so you can choose accordingly but the auction price will still likely start at the same price I have them listed for on the site currently. Otherwise, it was suggested to me that I message to Noble Knight Games to sell the whole lot to them and because the goal is to get them "gone" and out of my brother's and parents' thoughts and space, that seems the better option for my situation for the bulk of the games.

Thanks to some guidance on here, I adjusted the box size and got much more reasonable shipping estimates!
